Birthday Card for my Soul Mate

Hi there,  I hope you’re all having a great weekend. 

Today I want to share the card I made for Chris for his birthday last week.  As I was making this he was totally engrossed in his PS3 so the image was really appropriate.  I made the whole card while he was sitting about six feet away from me and was completely oblivious to it all until I put the envelope on the fire place LOL.  Please don’t look too closely at the colouring I made a bit of a hash of it in places but the printer is wireless and it doesn’t like the PS so every time I wanted to print something I had to ask Chris to save his game and switch it off… it wasn’t going down too well   I would like to say a big thank you to Jennie from The Crafty Wife for her help with this card.

Anyhoo here’s the card – oh and he really liked it – SUCCESS!!

I had to blur the writing in the arty shots – I hope you don’t mind, but I didn’t think you could take all the cheese

Too Many Lovehearts ?? LOL

I can finally post this on my blog now - this is my OH Chris' Birthday Card (it was his Birthday yesterday).  I used the coloured digistamp I designed myself (posted here).  The heart DPs and heart and bow on the back are from Jak Heath Designs (love her work) and the sentiment is again designed by me.  I punched out some little love hearts using my bargain punches that I got from Lidl's.  Do you think I went overboard on the hearts? (LOL)

My Digital Stamp

Hi, I made this digital stamp to use on Chris' Birthday Card. I draw variations of these for him every so often and thought it would be cool to make him a PROPER one for his card. Here's the pics of the original digistamp and then him in his full glory coloured in on the PC. (I've copyrighted these images cos they're my own design - hope you don't mind) Hope you like them. x
