Great Day for Flying a Kite

Hi again,

I made this card with no-one in particular in mind but I just loved the image.  I debossed the glimmer card and managed to find a matching border.  Hope you like him.

Recipe
Green glimmer card from stash
Border from Canon creative park

I Can Jump So High I Can Fly!

Hello again,  I hope you're all having a great weekend.

I have been making a selection of cards for a box to give to my future MIL.  She wants to sell them in her work.  I've discovered that it's really hard to make cards for people I don't know... but I wanted to enter this one into Marg's "Wings" challenge on MSE so I started with the image and went from there.  Hopefully it'll get easier :)

Recipe
Image from Carmin on MSE
Pink BG paper from Papermania Blueberry Hill pad
Purple paper from Canon Creative Park and embossed on the bug with the Floral Fantasy Folder
The sentiment - my own fair hand

Variation on a Theme - Another Baby Box

Hello Again.

A good friend at work became a grandmother for the first time this week to a beautiful baby girl called Tilly.  I was going to make another pair of baby shoes (check them out here and here) but decided to go for something different this time, so I made a pram.  I spent my lunch-hour designing a template and printed it out on paper to see if it would work (just aswell cos I only made two wheels - thinking in 2D instead of 3D oops).  I think it turned out rather well - what do you think?

I spent the next night making a box.  I had to use the baby pram embossing folder that came with my cuttlebug on this cos it matched perfectly.

Here they both are together.

And all tied up with a pretty ribbon ready for delivery.

Hope you like them as much as the new granny did.

Thanks for stopping by.

What a fantastic present!

I've had to wait a few days before posting this card.  This is the first card that I have made using my lovely new Cuttlebug.  My future MIL Michelle bought it for me for my Easter - so much better than an Easter egg :)  So of course my first make should be a thankyou card for her.

Thanks again Michelle - you really shouldn't have but it is fantastic!! xx

Card - cardstock
Digistamp Sentiment -  Bird's Cards and cut out using Nesties Labels Twelve
Cream Metallic card from stock embossed with Divine Swirl
Flower - Prima Flowers
BG paper - Papermania Blueberry Hill
Pearl embellishments - from stock

Mojo - Lost and Found

Hi again.

I have been asked to make a 50th card for a woman at work and I've been struggling over it for a couple of nights.  She's going to Egypt for her birthday and at first I thought about making that a theme for the card - but what a disaster.  My mojo vanished completely.  I then decided to change everything.  I should point out she loves horses and neither acts nor looks her age so I didn't want to emphasize the whole 50 thing.  I finally found my mojo tonight and this is my card...

I would like to say thankyou to Carmin on MSE for the stamp, which I coloured with pencils.  For some reason in this picture the image looks shiny - I have no idea why.

Thanks for stopping by.
